Teatro Misa

The Teatro Misa, located on the top floor of the Palazzo dei Priori, is a small architectural gem restored to its former splendor after a long restoration. Rebuilt between 1840 and 1845 on the site of an earlier theatre, dating between the 17th and 18th centuries, it features an elegant hall with a large stage raised above the stalls. The ceiling stands out, frescoed with geometric and floral motifs, enriched by a central rose window enclosed in an eight-pointed star. On the sides of the rose window are depicted muses and poets, in a Rococo work signed by Luigi Mancini, known as the Deaf.
